Young actors are invited to participate in an audition day at People’s Light. This is an open call for performers who will be entering grades 3-12 in Fall 2024 to introduce themselves to members of the People’s Light artistic staff. Callbacks for specific roles may follow, and young actors will also be considered for other projects currently in development outside the main season thorough the Community Programming and Education departments.
Students entering grades 8-12 will be seen from 1-4pm on Saturday, May 18.
Students entering grades 3-7 will be seen from 3-6pm on Wednesday, May 29.
All actors are required to prepare and present a one-minute memorized monologue. This can be a piece (or excerpt) prepared independently, or actors may use one of the text options available for download.
Singing is not required, but actors who sing are encouraged to also prepare a song.
