The Road Company is looking for non-equity actors for its upcoming production of “My Way: A Tribute to the Music of Frank Sinatra” (A small stipend will be paid based on opening night sales.)

Auditions for My Way at The Road Company Theater will take place on Sunday, June 9th and Monday June 10th at the Grand Theatre located at 405 S Main Street, Williamstown NJ, 08094.

Rehearsals will begin June 30th, 2024.

Rehearsal Days: Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays

Performance Dates: September 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd, 2024

WHAT TO PREPARE:

16-32 Bars in the style of the show.

SYNOPSIS:

One of the most popular musical reviews in musical theatre history, My Way contains 55 incredible songs from the Great American Songbook and celebrated the mystique and music from one of music’s most iconic singers.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

Man #1 Age 40-60 (Baritone) with the typical “Rat Pack” era look. Man #1 must have a deep/rich strong velvety baritone voice with a charismatic yet sophisticated presence. Man #1 must be able to sing close harmonies and dance or move well. Tap dancing skills are a plus.

Woman #1 Age 30-50 (Strong Mezzo) who embodies style and sophistication and is counterpart to Man #1. Woman #1 is a strong mezzo soprano who can also belt; singing in the style of Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, and Judy Garland. Must be able to sing close harmonies and dance or move well.

Man #2 Age 25-40 (Lyrical Baritone) with the 1940’s big band “crooner” look. Man#2 should have a strong legit lyric baritone voice (up to a G) who also has a natural and unaffected flair for comedy. Man#2 must be able to sing close harmonies and dance or move well.

Woman #2 20-35 (Mezzo) with a classy yet energetic appeal. Woman #2 is a mezzo with a smooth liquid big band singer style of the 40’s. must be able to sing close harmonies and dance or move well. Tap dancing skills are a plus.

Auditions are in person and you must prepare 16-32 bars in the style of the show. Also, if asked to stay, be prepared to dance.
